The purpose of our fertility education course is to teach couples basic reproductive biology, and how to observe, chart and interpret the symptoms that accompany the hormonal changes during each reproductive cycle for a woman. This is the basis for understanding couple fertility: male fertility is constant while female fertility is periodic, but observable.  With their new knowledge, couples can then make decisions that honor each other and their shared family planning intentions.

Ann teaches SymptoPro™ Fertility Education, an effective, scientifically based method, that treats fertility as a normal, healthy process. Symptopro™ is a Sympto-Thermal Method of fertility awareness, based on changes in a woman’s cervical mucus, waking or resting temperature, and cervix. These observable signs change in response to the hormones of the menstrual cycle.  SymptoPro™ works through periodic abstinence during the method-defined fertile time for couples who are avoiding a pregnancy.  Alternatively, couples desiring a pregnancy would use the method-defined fertile days for timing intercourse.

SymptoPro™ can be used effectively throughout a woman’s entire reproductive life. Regular cycles are NOT required. SymptoPro™ is NOT Calendar Rhythm.

Each class series consists of three two-hour sessions that meet over the course of six weeks with personalized follow-up. A fourth private follow up is also scheduled one month after the final session, followed by on-going chart review for the first 4-6 cycles. The benefits to this approach include face-to-face instruction and the opportunity to ask questions both of your Instructor and of the other couples in your class. You will not be asked to share personal information with class participants.

From there, a client is welcome to contact Ann or SymptoPro™ headquarters at any point when a question arises, most especially during important transitions like having a baby or approaching menopause.

Class series fee is $130/couple, and includes all materials.  Classes are limited to three couples attending.
